Currently, two optical software modules have been developed and are on the market, which includes thin-film\/grating design and DOE design.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our design kernel is based on the latest computer technology, both in hardware and software, so it runs efficiently to deliver customers a more precise and robust result in a short amount of time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-container-3 wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-container-1 wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-bottom\" style=\"flex-basis:70%\">\n<h2>Founder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>LightSoft\u2019s president, Dr. Jianhua Jiang, has over 20 years of optical software development experience. He has a physics and optics background and acquired strong computer science skills over the years. His tools have been used to design optical components and systems from micro to macro levels in the real world for over 15 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jiang is an expert in FORTRAN 90, C\/C++\/C#, Python, MATLAB, and Unix\/Linux programming as well as MPI and OpenMP parallel computing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-container-2 wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-bottom\" style=\"flex-basis:40%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lightsoftllc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/jianhua-jiang-portrait-thumbnail.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"483\" height=\"542\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lightsoftllc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/jianhua-jiang-portrait-thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11326\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.lightsoftllc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/jianhua-jiang-portrait-thumbnail.jpg 483w, http:\/\/www.lightsoftllc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/jianhua-jiang-portrait-thumbnail-267x300.jpg 267w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 483px) 100vw, 483px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>He studied and did research at Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) for 8+ years, and earned his Bachelor&#8217;s and Master&#8217;s degree in physics and optics. He then studied and worked at the University of Alabama in Huntsville for 9+ years where he obtained his Ph.D. in Optical Science and Engineering. His Ph.D. dissertation is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.et.byu.edu\/~gnordin\/nordin\/dissertations\/2000_John_dissertation.pdf\">RIGOROUS ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF DIFFRACTIVE OPTICAL ELEMENTS<\/a>.
